Sammamish begins study for new economic development plan

By the end of the year, Sammamish could have a new plan for economic development in general and town center in particular. Some citizens, however, question if the city will actually put the plan into use.

Members of the City Council and senior staff met with Chris Mofford, president of Community Attributes, March 12 at a meeting of the Community and Economic Development Committee. The Seattle-based consultant will be assisting the city in developing the plan. The council has budgeted $65,000 to complete it. Read more

Sammamish to start economic development study

The Sammamish City Council approved a contract with Community Attributes to conduct an economic development plan for Sammamish at its March 5 meeting.

The $65,000 contract will bring in the consultant to study Sammamish that will be complete by the end of the year. Read more
