Jim was born on March 3, 1943 in Sheridan, Wyo. His parents were James Lewis Hamstreet and Margaret Ellen Upton. He is survived by his brothers, Chuck Hamstreet of Bellingham and Richard Hamstreet, of Randall. Read more

Former Snoqualmie Valley resident Verna J. McKay, 79, passed away Feb. 10, 2012, in Missoula, Mont.
Verna retired from the Montana Department of Transportation, where she was a truck scale officer. Her passion for horses brought her much joy. Whenever she was on a horse, all her troubles went away. She enjoyed designing costumes, and riding in parades and horse shows. She was a founding member of the Raging River Riders Horse Club of Fall City. Verna sewed costumes for Fall City’s Passion Play and a multitude of doll clothes.
Services are at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 at Fall City Cemetery.
Anna June Schuerman

Anna June Schuerman died Feb. 7, 2012, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully passed at Swedish Hospital in Issaquah.
June was the daughter of Leonard and Ina Miller, and was raised in Muscoda, Wis. In 1942, she married Darrel Schuerman of Richland Center, Wis. They spent their first years together as Darrel served in the Army Air Corps. Upon completion of his military service, they returned home to Richland Center to raise a family of five children. In 1962, they moved to Los Altos, Calif., where they resided until 1987. Once Darrel retired from his home plumbing business, they made their final move to Issaquah.
June is survived by her husband Darrel; daughters Dawn Draves, of Bishop, Calif., Cindy Ebersole, of Issaquah, Jill Mitchell, of Sammamish, and Heidi Cox, of Redmond; son Jim Schuerman, of Issaquah; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Anna June will be forever treasured by her family and friends who knew and loved her so much.

Timothy Steven Williamson, of Sammamish, died Feb. 4, 2012. He was 21.
Tim lived life much like he skied mountains, with intensity, grace and conviction. As a child, he would point his skis downhill, bomb the mountain and fly into powdery snowdrifts, always emerging with a joyful grin. As he grew older, Tim carved the slopes more purposefully and with undeniable grace.

On Dec. 18, 2011, our beloved Penelope Ann Tracy Tierney cast off the complications of ovarian cancer and set sail for open waters, clear skies and a place where she can watch over her dear ones and the beauty of this world that she loved so much. She was 52 years old.
Born Dec. 5, 1959, to Doris and Richmond Tracy, in Pittman, N.J., she grew up in Bellevue.

Patricia Dallas passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.
Pat was born Aug. 17, 1951, in Los Angeles. She was a 28-year resident of Redmond and Sammamish, and a retiree from PACCAR, Inc.
Throughout her life Pat loved reading and flowers, and shared homemade cards with many friends and family. She viewed climbing Mount Rainier and raising her son Chris as her greatest achievements.
Survivors include her son Chris, husband Jim, father David Gonzales and sister Gloria Gomez.
A memorial service will be planned in the spring.

Xibin Zeng of Sammamish passed away on Dec. 16, 2011. He was 42. Xibin is survived by his wife, his two sons, his parents, and his two sisters. Dave attended Highline High School, where he played baseball and the saxophone, participated in Hi-Liners Musical Theater and formed many lifelong friendships. He was proud to be a University of Washington alumnus, having earned a master’s degree in civil engineering. Read more
