<p>Want to help save native plants? King County is seeking volunteers to help clear a property near Redmond and then transport the native plants to the county’s holding facility in Duthie Hill Park. The event is set for Feb. 4. Volunteers who dig up plants for the county from 9 a.m.-noon can dig plants for themselves from noon-2 p.m. Volunteers are also needed to pot the dug up plants from 1-4:30 p.m. at Duthie Hill Park. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, or to sign up, email cindy.young@kingcounty.gov.</p>

<p>Sammamish Presbyterian Church will hold family services at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., carols and candlelight services at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and carols, candlelight, and a communion service at 10:30 p.m.</p>
<p>Mary, Queen of Peace will hold Christmas Eve masses at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.</p>
<p>Spirit of Peace United Church of Christ will hold a candlelight service with a Moravian Love Feast at 5 p.m.</p>
<p>Pine Lake Covenant will hold a family service at 4 p.m. and candlelight and carols services at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.</p>
<p>Timberlake Church will hold early Christmas Eve services in Redmond at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Dec. 23 an in Issaquah at 4 p.m. Dec. 23.</p>
<p>Good Samaritan Episcopal Church will hold a Christmas pageant/service at 6 p.m. and a candlelight sermon at 10 p.m.</p>
<p>Sammamish Hills Lutheran will hold a children and family service at 3 p.m., a youth and family service at 5 p.m., a traditional service at 7 p.m. and a traditional acoustic service at 9 p.m.</p>

<p>Bookmaking for Kids, presented by the Seattle Center for Book Arts is for children 6 and older with an adult. Learn how to make a book at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Sammamish Library.</p>
<p>The Reindeer and the Dreidel Puppet Show, a girl celebrating Hanukkah meets Rudolf the reindeer and they teach each other about their holidays at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Sammamish Library.</p>
