International Community School presents “Grease” at 7 p.m. March 11, 12 and 13 and 2 p.m. March 13 at the school, 11133 N.E. 65th St. in Kirkland.
The Sammamish Symphony will perform a special presentation of Mozart’s Requiem at 2 p.m. March 14 at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Tickets are $30 at the door. Advance tickets are available at a discount, call 206-517-7777.
Issaquah Paddle Sports will offer kayak tours along the shore of Lake Sammamish and up a portion of Issaquah Creek. A state park ranger will be on hand to present an on-the-water program about the great blue heron. Tours run from 9 a.m.- noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m. March 27. There is a registration fee of $5 per person and kayak rentals of $10 for a single person and $15 for a two-person. Pre-registration is required. Story Slam. Submit an original song, poem or story to the library and present your work in five minutes. Finalists from around the county will compete to have their work produced at the Moore Theater in Seattle. For ages 6-17 at 6 p.m. April 23.

A support group for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s meets in Issaquah. The group is designed to let caregivers gain emotional support, learn and share their experiences.
