A group will meet to discuss the book ‘Hurt 2.0’ from 7-8:30 p.m. April 29 and May 6 at Skyline High School in room 2212. The book discusses way to build resiliency in teenagers. The discussion will center around actions individuals and groups can take. While anyone is welcome, organizers ask that attendees first read the book. The discussion will be led by the Rev. John LaMunyon, lead pastor at Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church.
The Sammamish Arts Commission and ACT theater will sponsor a free community reading of ‘The Price’ by Arthur Miller at 7 p.m. May 8 at the Sammamish Library. The arts commission is seeking volunteer readers for the event. To volunteer, or for more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
