Issaquah-Sammamish Health Fair slated for Feb. 8

The annual Issaquah/Sammamish Health & Safety Fair returns to Pickering Barn in Issaquah (next to Costco) 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8 with free admission for all.
Overlake Hospital is offering $20 flu shots for the first 100 people. Free health screenings will include blood pressure, glucose, skin cancer, posture and spinal analysis, orthotic evaluations and orthodontics. Wellness providers will be available to offer consultations on nutrition, weight loss, skin care, body shaping, hypnotherapy and counseling for a variety of issues. There will be free gifts and information to take home.
Attendees will be able to visit with more than 50 health care professionals. Bi-lingual representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the Affordable Care Act and to help with sign-ups.
The King County Police Union will host its MY ID Club, offering parents free fingerprints of their children. The Issaquah Citizen Corps Council, the city of Issaquah and Eastside Fire & Rescue will offer safety and emergency preparedness information.
Take advantage of this opportunity to meet and talk with a wide array of health care providers, including physicians, dentists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, dermatologists, physical therapists, active and assisted senior living representatives and more.
