October 9, 2013
New: Oct. 9, 10:20 a.m.
The Washington State Department of Transportation is hosting a series of meetings to discuss the potential for placing tolls on the I-90 bridge to Seattle.
Department officials will host the meetings to explain the current status of the purpose and need for I-90 tolls, discuss options, gather input from the public and review alternatives of a draft Environmental Impact Statement. The meetings will not have a formal presentation, but will instead have a series of display boards and staff people on hand to explain the information. A court reporter will be present to record public comments for the official record.
The first meeting is set for 4-7 p.m. Oct. 10 at Bellevue College, Cafeteria, 3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., Bellevue.
The next meeting is from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Mercer Island High School, 9100 SE 42nd St., Mercer Island.
