Register for March youth job Fair

Registration is now open for the Youth Job Skills Fair scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 9 at Issaquah High School. The Fair is open to people ages 14-24 who live in Issaquah, Sammamish, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Newcastle or unincorporated areas of East King County. Participants do not need to be enrolled in Issaquah public schools.
This event is free, but advanced registration is required.
Houston Kraft, the 23-year-old Northwest native who founded R.A.K.E. (Random Acts of Kindness, Etc.), is set to be the keynote speaker.
Youth Job Skills Fair attendees will be able to access breakout sessions, including Writing a Winning Resume, Attention-Grabbing Interview Skills, How to Land an Internship, How To Network and Why It’s Important, Successful Alternatives to College, Developing People Skills Essential to Career Success, and Finding Jobs in the Global Marketplace. Participants will also meet in small groups with skill area mentors during a lunch break. Attendees will also be entered to win a new iPad.
