Helicopters to buzz the Eastside through July

Sammamish residents shouldn’t be alarmed if they see a low-flying helicopter overhead between July 11 and July 28.
The U.S. Department of Energy is planning an aerial survey of the Seattle area, during which they will be measuring baseline levels of radiation so that officials can make a comparison in the event of a nuclear emergency, according to an email from the King County Office of Emergency Management.
