Summertime is almost here

Attention all students! We’ve had a great year. Tomorrow we will celebrate this all as a family. More than 1,000 students, a Beaver Lake record, attended school this year.
Because of next year evening out over Pine Lake and Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus converting into a middle school, Beaver Lake will be left with an estimated 800 students.
On the first day of school back in September, for my orchestra class, I was clueless on what an open string meant. Now in our end of year concert we played “Telemann Simfonia,” which is a heartbreaking song.
When I stepped into the front door of this school in September, I didn’t really know what to expect. Fifth grade was six times easier than sixth grade, because in middle school, you have five-six teachers.
Overall, this year was pretty good. Getting up so early was a bit of a doozy, but my classes were fun. I also learned an important lesson: Care about school. I heard at the beginning of the school year that the grades you get in middle school are close to the grades you get in high school. So, if we all do well in middle school, we’re on the right path. Do well in school, bulldogs!
It’s been a great year serving you, Beaver Lake Middle School, but soon it will be too hot to be in school. So I’ll see you next fall. Congrats!
