Sammamish gets in on high school spirit
June 8, 2010

Local high school students may soon feel a bit more school spirit on their way into class.
On June 1 the Sammamish City Council unanimously approved renaming the entrances to Sammamish’s three high schools after each school’s mascot.
Northeast Fourth Street east of 228th Avenue to the entrance of Eastlake High School will be renamed “Wolfpack Way”
Southeast Fourth Street east of 228th Avenue to the entrance of Eastside Catholic High School will be renamed “Crusader Way”
Southeast 10th Street east of 228th Avenue to the entrance of Skyline High School will be renamed “Spartan Way”
The post office will deliver mail to the old and new addresses. The minimal costs from the change will come from the city’s 2010 Street Fund.
