With solid accompaniment from a few teammates, Skyline’s Sean Penberthy helped answer a lot of questions about the team’s 2010 season outlook March 23.
Penberthy, the Spartans’ lone returning senior starter, went 4-for-4 and ended the game early on a two-out two-RBI double in the fifth inning. He also launched a one-run homerun over the left-field fence in the third. Read more

Peter Pan production brings back childhood imagination at Beaver Lake Middle School

Issaquah Soccer Club named as potential partner for Klahanie Park

The process to transfer county-run Klahanie Park to Sammamish has slowed, as King County officials and the Issaquah Soccer Club discuss ways to keep the park open.

As representatives from the soccer club and the county review a potential partnership, Issaquah City Council members decided last week to postpone a decision on a proposed agreement offered by King County. The agreement lays the foundation to transfer the park to Sammamish in the short term. Read more

Sammamish scrutinizes public relations push by fire officials
