Road project on time, on budget

The city’s construction project along 244th Avenue is on time and within budget, according to John Cunningham, the city’s director of public works.
The $9.3 million project, which had been in the works since before Sammamish became a city, got underway last July. It calls for connecting two ends of 244th Avenue, creating a new north-south road on the plateau.
