Two Skyline High School athletes will commit to their respective schools at a national letter of intent signing Nov. 25, according to school administrators. State-champ swimmer Andie Taylor, who competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials, will commit to swim for Stanford in 2010 and Connor Gacek, a 6-foot-3 guard, will sign to play for Cal Poly Pomona.
Eastlake star Alyssa Charlston recently committed to play basketball for the University of Idaho. As a junior, the 6-foot-1 forward averaged 12 points, nine rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, according to a university press release, and led the Wolves to a sixth-place finish at the 4A state tournament. ESPN.com’s HoopGurlz recruit service rates Charlston as the No. 8 overall prospect from Washington.
