Challenger Elementary School already has a new principal. Issaquah School District Superintendent Steve Rasmussen announced in a letter to the district that current Clark Elementary School principal Sue McPeak will replace outgoing principal Robin Earl.

Bryce Barlow was not in it for the money.
The 14-year-old Inglewood Junior High student spent a week in Olympia working as a page in the state House of Representatives.
While some pages seemed to be there for the paycheck they’d earn at the end of the week, Barlow took a more service-oriented view.
“It may not seem like much, but you’re working for the government. You’re doing them a big favor,” he said. Read more

Playing a lead character in Eastside Catholic High School’s upcoming spring musical is a big deal for freshman and Sammamish resident Shannon Ludeman.
Not only is it her first time acting in an Eastside Catholic play, but taking on a main role represents the youth’s journey through her first year at the school. Read more
